work with me

five ways in.
every one of them priced.

every engagement is fixed-fee, fixed-scope and fixed-date. i don't bill by the hour, so a slow week is my problem rather than your invoice.

01

simplification audit

a week of my time to map where your hours go, and a straight answer on what to buy, what to deploy and what to build. it is the only sensible first step if you don't already know what's broken.

what you get
  • a written map of every manual process, costed in hours and money
  • a ranked list of what's worth fixing first, and what to leave alone
  • buy / deploy / build called for each one, with named products and real prices
  • a fixed quote for whatever comes next, or a recommendation to do nothing
$1,200
one week · flat fee
the guarantee

if i can't find you at least five hours a week worth reclaiming, you don't pay for the audit.

02

the rescue

send me the workflow that broke. this is for the situation where somebody built you an automation, it stopped working, and nobody left in the building knows what's inside it.

what you get
  • a written explanation of why it failed, in language you can forward to your team
  • what it would cost to make it reliable
  • a straight answer on whether it's worth saving at all

a diagnosis, not a fix. the fix is quoted separately, and this fee comes off it.

$500
three working days
03

tool & open-source implementation

the right existing product or open-source project, chosen, deployed, integrated and taught to your team. this is the outcome i recommend most often, and it's the smallest invoice on this page for a reason.

what you get
  • selection with the trade-offs written down, not just a recommendation
  • deployment into your own infrastructure, configured and hardened
  • integration with what you already run, and training for the people who'll use it
$2,500–6,000
one to three weeks
04

custom build

software built for how your business actually works — for the case where no product fits, or where stitching three products together would be more fragile than one purpose-built system.

what ships with it, always
  • evaluations, so we can both see whether it's actually working
  • error handling and monitoring, with alerts that reach me before they reach you
  • a runbook, and training for whoever will own it
  • full handover: code, documentation, credentials. no proprietary runtime, no lock-in
  • thirty days of tuning after launch, included
$8,500–18,000
four to six weeks

weekly demos while it's being built. you see it working, or not working, every week — never a reveal at the end.

05

reliability retainer

systems drift. models change, apis change, your business changes. i watch what i built, fix it when it breaks, and improve one thing a month.

what you get
  • monitoring and alerting on everything i've built for you
  • fixes inside stated response windows, within uk and eu overlap hours
  • one improvement a month, chosen by you
  • a monthly note on what ran, what broke, and what it saved
$1,000
per month, flat · cancel any time

if your problem doesn't fit one of these, tell me about it and you'll have a fixed number in writing within 48 hours.

all prices in usd.
fixed fees, never hourly.

how it starts
01

the call

fifteen minutes. you describe what's slow or broken. i say which step fits, what it costs, and whether it's worth doing at all.

02

a number in writing

within 48 hours: fixed fee, fixed scope, fixed date, and what is explicitly not included. an nda first if you'd prefer.

03

we start, or we don't

no follow-up sequence, no discount that expires on friday. if the timing is wrong, it's wrong.

i take one build at a time, and no more than five ongoing clients.
how i work →

fifteen minutes, no slides.

if i can't help, i'll tell you who can. if the honest answer is a $50 subscription, you'll get that instead of a proposal.
